New York, I love you

I'm taking a class called "Business of Fashion" this quarter and each class has a different theme to which we have to dress. The first session of the once a week class was themed "cities" and we were to dress as if we were living in or visiting our favorite city. Of course I chose New York and imagined that I was just going to work on a normal day.

After some deliberation, I bought the Dooney & Bourke bag I posted about in a gorgeous dark brown. I decided to take advantage of the lower sales tax in Virginia while I could, so the bag was a New Year's gift to myself. I can hardly believe that it's my last quarter of classes and I'm more than a little worried about finding a job, but I think having an excuse to dress up every week will help keep me calm.
