Ring of Gold

I didn't take any photos yesterday because I was tired and wasn't wearing anything too exciting (Tucker for Target dress, Aldo wedges) but turns out I should have saved that for today. When I got home I was exhausted and had a splitting headache, but I liked what I was wearing, so I quickly took a few snaps before turning off my lights, curling up into the fetal position and going to sleep for a couple hours (I took advil before pics). Now I'm feeling a little better, having had my nap as well as a completely decadent cupcake from Crumbs. I really appreciate that New York has so many options for me to get my sugar fix when I'm feeling terrible.
When I went home for the weekend, my parents and I were able to celebrate my birthday a little bit, which is when I got these beautiful earrings. I've worn them two days in a row and I'm pretty much in love with them. I don't own that many pairs of earrings and I often get into a rut wearing either pearl or other studs. These dangly gold pieces are a very welcome addition. Somewhat related: People always tell me how small my ears are, but I'm usually like "yeah, whatever." Looking at that last picture though...my ears are small. I've never really noticed just how teeny they are. Good call various people from my life.
