Spring in New York is beautiful. But with the trees and flowers mostly concentrated in the occasional median and of course parks, it's not quite what I'm used to. When I went home this weekend though, I got my spring fix. Everything was gorgeous and in bloom. Of course, that meant that I spent the entirety of Saturday sniffling and sneezing and blowing my nose (upside to fewer trees: fewer allergies) but I also got outside to take a few pictures of the brilliant foliage in my backyard.
Being home made me wish for a little more green (and a lot more space) in the city, but if the trade off is fewer sneezy itchy eye days, then I suppose I'll take it.
