The Day After

Hat: Target, Shirt: Old Navy, Sweater: Urban Outfitters, Skirt: Forever 21, Tights: Hue, Boots: Chooka

Today was back to business as usual after our glorious snow day. As a result, it was also back to business as usual for my wardrobe - though my big black rubber boots did reappear. The snow may not be falling anymore but that certainly doesn't mean it's gone. I needed my boots for climbing over snow drifts and shuffling through slush. I contemplated wearing pants today, but decided against it since it was going to be a grueling day, and grueling days deserve fun skirts and bright tights. I regretted this decision walking back from the newspaper at 12:15 when the windchill made it feel like -3. Oh well, live and learn just kidding, I'm still going to wear skirts when it's freezing out. I am considering in investing in some leggings as a thicker alternative to tights (but not as an alternative to pants).
