I've been MIA for the past couple days thanks to New Year's celebrations and packing and flying and just generally being exhausted (whew!). But today's the first day of winter quarter so I might as well get back into the swing of things with everything.
New Year's Eve was spent hanging out with some friends at a low key get together, but I dressed up anyway - and why not?Why should the venue limit my sparkliness?
Yesterday I spent my day traveling - D.C. to Chicago - luckily with a smooth plane ride. I wore my go-to travel outfit: striped shirt, jeans and my riding boots. I added in the sweater that I got for Christmas, so comfy that I never want to take it off.
If you're wondering about the odd location of the pictures, my tripod broke on Saturday. Thus I'll be making the most out of my dresser, kitchen table and counter and various other surfaces for a camera stand until I get a new one. I'm sure it will be really fun. But maybe it's incentive to clean my room.
