Winter Winds are Blowing

I finally got outside for pictures today and maybe went a little overboard, considering that the wind was blowing and when I got back inside I was quite shivery. I must have looked funny running/hopping back and forth from my camera on the deck. Today I went downtown with my mom for a hair appointment, which is why my hair is all curly. As the title of this post suggests, it was quite windy, making a bit of a mess out of my perfect coif. I think of all the weather events - cold, heat, rain, snow, etc. - that wind is my least favorite to dress for. I can plan for all the other ones with a lot of layers or few layers or certain shoes, but wind I have to look for a certain shape. If I don't want to wear pants, I'm searching my closet for skirts that are narrow enough that they won't fly in the wind and leave me flashing the greater public and/or skirts with a heavy enough material that they'll stay down no matter their shape. I feel as though I'll never really master the art of windy day dressing, but I'll keep trying (and maybe just wear pants).
