I used today's lack of class to wear my new boots. I had to go to the student center to pick up something and grab lunch with my roommate so I used that as my test-run with the boots. They're a little hard to go down a flight of stairs in, but otherwise really comfortable for a four inch heel. Because it was the first time wearing them and a low-key day I paired them with jeans instead of with a skirt like I probably will most of the time. My trusty gingham shirt and comfy sweater made the boots seem a little less risque. I topped off my top half with a denim bow that I made from remnants from a pair of jeans I made into cutoffs. I strung the bow on a chain and voila - a faux bow tie necklace.
