Party Girl

I'm not really what you think of when using the phrase "party girl," but I did go to two parties last weekend, so for those two nights I fell into that category. I shared what I wore Friday night, but Saturday night I went a little more casual - but also more sparkly.

Shirt: Old Navy, Dress (as skirt): Forever 21, Tights: Hue, Boots: Forever 21

This outfit was actually inspired by a picture I saw of Olivia Wilde at some press event for Tron: Legacy. She combined a striped shirt, black skirt, pink tights and black boots for a look that I thought was pretty cute. And since I had all of those elements, I decided to put together my own variation for the end of the quarter party for the newspaper. I ended up changing into my shorter brown snow boots though, after I circled the block. While the snow was beautiful, the ice underneath was more than a little bit treacherous. Four-inch heels on ice = not the best idea ever. I'll save them for when the pavement is visible again.
