As you can probably guess from the pictures, it snowed today. One of the best things about going to school far from home is that I get two first snows - one at school and one at home. The snow at home is always a bit more special because it reminds me of snow days as a little kid, hoping for school to be canceled, drinking hot chocolate and bundling up to go sledding with my best friend. The outfit I wore today would certainly not be appropriate for that last activity but since I spent most of my day curled up with a book, I don't think it matters too much. The hat is one I've had for a while that I seem to only dig out when there's snow on the ground. I got it at a holiday craft fair at the local community center some time in the 90s and while I think it emphasizes how large my head is, it's comfy and cozy and I love the color, so I'll keep wearing it.
