The Long and Shorts of it

Do you ever find yourself mildly obsessed with something you're pretty sure is impractical and would look terrible? Because I am right now. It all started with the D&G Fall 2010 collection

That was the first time that the idea of sweater shorts ever crossed my mind. Of course, while I was intrigued then, I didn't give them much thought - it seemed like something that wouldn't necessarily be translated to more affordable
But then I did see them - Urban Outfitters, Modcloth, Topshop, Asos - the knit shorts have gone the way of fast fashion, putting them within my reach.

But then there's that one question: Do I actually want them? Sure, I like them, but they also seem pretty impractical for my life. Maybe one day soon I'll come across them in a store, so I can really see what's up.
