Little house

I've discussed my love of Barbies here before, but I've also got a love for dollhouses as well. While I had a Barbie sized house that my mom made, I've always loved dollhouse stores with their miniature furniture and appliances, working lights and such. When I'm at the newspaper copy editing for four hours per week I tend to have a fair amount of down time. In my free time I like to read the New York Times online. I came across this slideshow of dollhouses with miniature modern furniture on Thursday.

I love the one above because a lot of the furniture is based on real furniture at Ikea. I think we have the real bookshelf from the second picture in our house.

I love this dollhouse because it's so bright. It's an interesting design for a dollhouse too, not the old-style Victorian that you often see.
