Fancy schmancy

Yesterday I decided to dress up a little bit. There aren't very many chances for me to truly dress up, which is why I haven't worn this dress before. I feel like the sheen of it makes it a little too fancy for daily wear.

Dress: H&M, Tights: H&M, Sandals: Aerosoles

This was actually a variation on an outfit that I planned to wear in the winter in which I would have put my faux-fur capelet and my cloche hat on as well as some elbow-length gloves. But the weather was never quite right- I think it's more of a fall to winter transition outfit than a winter to spring outfit. Nonetheless, I took the bare bones of the outfit and threw them together yesterday.
