Dorothy called. She wants her outfit back.

Yesterday I was faced with a challenge. I had to wear a real T-shirt. Now, I'm all about V-neck Ts and certainly some scoop neck Ts. But a crewneck? I'm a little ambivalent. I just don't like things that close to my neck - it feels restrictive sometimes. But I had to wear a T-shirt to support my student group. So I paired it with a skirt, some tights, shoes that matched...and I ended up looking like I was making a film reference

Skirt: Tulle, shoes: Naturalizer, tights: costume store
I didn't realize til the middle of the day that my blue and white gingham skirt with white tights and red shoes might be interpreted as "Wizard of Oz." At least I wasn't wearing pigtails and carrying a basket. It was the only way I could figure to wear this shirt though. It fits kind of weird and it's an odd color - hard to match and hard to find a skirt with the right proportions for it. Add to that I'm busybusybusy this week. Not so much time for picking out my clothes. And not too much time for pictures either. I promise better ones tonight.
