Whistle While You Work

Today was one of those power-through days. Tomorrow is the deadline for my 2500 word article for my magazine and feature writing class and I'm finally done! Okay, I might put a few final touches on it, but for all intents and purposes, it's done.I didn't have class today since it's reading week for the college of arts and sciences which was perfect as it gave me the whole day to work on my article. I'm so thankful that it's done and that I like it. It's not quite time to relax though, since I have a six page paper due Friday and two midterms next week. I think this weekend will find me being lazy though.

The top picture is what I looked like for most of the day. Wet hair pulled back into little buns while I worked on my article. The rest of the pictures were taken after midnight, so my hair looks a tad bit better.Even though I didn't have to go anywhere today and spent most of my day sitting at my desk staring at my computer, I had to get dressed nicely. I find that I'm more productive when I get dressed. Sure, pajamas are comfy, but when I'm fully dressed I feel more like I'm working - like I have more purpose. It also deters me from just crawling back into bed and going to sleep.
