Swiss Miss

I had my first final exam for this quarter today and the best thing that I can say about it is that it's over. When I have final exams though, I like to be dressed up. It makes me feel better, puts my head in a calmer place. At least if the exam isn't going the way I want I can look at something pretty to cheer me up. Today I decided to finally wear my Rodarte for Target dress that has been hanging in my closet for a couple months now. It just never felt like the right time before, but on a final exam day it was just what I needed. The blue swiss-dot dress worked perfectly with my swiss-dot flats.

Taking pictures tonight was a little difficult since there was a maintenance person in the basement right around where I usually take my pictures. I had to get a little creative with my camera placement on a stair and take pictures in the stairwell but I think it turned out okay. Once again it was warm enough for knee socks, but very very foggy. Tonight I had a meeting and walking outside if I hadn't known better I would have thought there was something wrong with my eyes because everything was so fuzzy. I wish I had a better camera so that I could have captured the fog - it made campus look magical and a little bit scary. 

This morning I woke up early and caught a friend just as he was going to breakfast. He told me to throw on something and join him so I did. When I met up with him he commented how my throwing something on was like most people's getting dressed for the day. I took it as a compliment. Sorry for the glare on the glasses.
