In this outfit I felt a little bit like I should be going to the soda shoppe to get a malted with the boy who pinned me, but it felt appropriate in this decade as well. I was glad to be able to wear my short trench from Banana Republic instead of wool. It really makes a difference in my mood. I can't wait to go home so that I can get my blue spring coat. It has been hiding in my closet in my bedroom and it needs to be retrieved before spring arrives in full force. Tomorrow is another hard-at-work day for me - the take-home portion of one of my exams is due on Friday and since I had the big article due...well, let's just say that it fell to the wayside a teeny bit. No worries though, I'm confident in my abilities to rally and get the paper done in a timely manner.

A Spring in my step
Today was my last day of class for the quarter! I turned in my article and waved goodbye to journalism classes for the next quarter. That means the next journalistic concern of mine is a summer internship. I'll worry about that over the weekend. It would seem that Mother Nature was also celebrating the end of class because the weather was just gorgeous. Miracle of miracles it got into the 50s and though it rained in the morning before I got up, for the rest of the day it was sun and clouds (more of the latter than the former) and wonderful. I dressed like it was spring because of how nice the weather was,
