Epic Fail

Dress (both): H&M, vest (below): Lilly Pulitzer, socks: target, shoes: Aerosoles

I did not wear this blue checked dress all day. I wore a completely different dress for most of the day in fact. But then, while drinking a mocha milkshake after dinner, a few drops spilled on me and I had to take the dress off immediately so that I could wash it. The spill was my epic fail of the day. The truth is I wore the dress (and vest) below today, though without the tights. The day was nice so I didn't have to wear tights and I could go out wearing my vest and a light scarf without feeling cold. I finally tried out socks and sandals today. I think these socks make it look a good deal daintier than the horrid tevas and gym socks combo that most people envision when they think of socks and sandals. I loved being able to have partly bare legs today. The temperature is supposed to linger in the 40s for the week, so maybe they'll become a little more common. I saw Alice in Wonderland last night. I'll have a post on my thoughts tomorrow (hopefully).
