Apart from fashion, one of my other loves is interior design. I've always loved home magazines and blogs that focus on design. I always dream about having my own apartment where I can decorate the way I want and have enough room for my stuff that decoration won't be engulfed in the mess. I find inspiration for my design aspirations in a number of different places, but I thought I'd share my favorites.
Desire to Inspire
I think Jo and Kim of Desire to Inspire have some of the best taste in interior design. They always find the most beautiful homes and photographs to showcase and I love sitting and reading (or just looking at the pictures) right before bed or when I've gotten up in the morning.

Domino
Domino used to be one of my favorite magazines, but unfortunately it was closed a couple years ago. It made me so sad - my subscription was replaced with some forgettable magazine and my life lost a little bit of color. When Domino was still running though, they gave me some of the best interior design tips I've ever come across. I'm glad that I don't throw away magazines so I can draw on their wisdom at any time. I miss the magazine and the blog they had on their site, but luckily, the editors are still publishing elsewhere...

Lonny Mag
Lonny Mag is pretty exciting because it's put out by some former Domino editors, its online and its free (though honestly, I wouldn't mind paying for it). And did I mention it's really well done? Not that you would expect anything less, but I think it's the best magazine that I've read that's purely online. I wish they had a blog as well, but I guess it's a lot to take care of, especially when it's a small staff publishing on their own without a great big publisher behind them. They've got great contributors, great spreads and pages on both interior design and fashion. Plus, it's interactive - items you can buy are linked so that you can see something, click and buy. It's the dream of every print magazine looking toward the future.

I miss Domino SO MUCH! Have you ever picked up an issue of ReadyMade? It's not the same, but it's pretty great!
