Snow

Today it snowed. In fact, it's still snowing by the end of all of it, we're supposed to have about a foot of snow on the ground. After all the news of snow from my hometown, it was nice to get some snow where I am. I spent part of my afternoon after I got done with class just sitting in the dark on my bed watching the snow fall.One of the things I like about snow is that you need a completely different wardrobe to deal with it than the every day. For snow I threw on my giant lilac coat, a hat, gloves and my big rubber boots. The boots are truly essential. Pretty much anything else and I would have been sliding around all over the place, but they have enough traction that even the clumsiest person, which I am pretty darn close to, can't fall. Plus, they dry really fast. I can't imagine being the person who has to wait for their Uggs to dry.

I love this dress because the material is heavy enough for a cold snowy day. It's heavy enough that it stays down without having to wear a slip underneath. Plus, it has a huge cowl neck that I love to play with.
