Can you spot all the plaid? Two of them are easy to see, but maybe not the third. If you've given up, it's the jumper (obviously), the scarf (duh) and the lining of the jacket, which is sticking out at the cuffs. I wore this jumper because I knew I had to wear these boots. On days when it's snowing, I like to wear the knee-high rubber boots. But after it snows, I can go for a shorter boot, which means I break out these. They're actually marvelous. I like to think they're not that ugly and that by pairing them with plaid I look like I'm trying for a 90s grunge look instead of just looking crazy. Anyway, these boots are lifesavers. If you don't want really cold feet, wear waterproof boots. It may look like a nicely plowed yet snowy wonderland, but on the curbs it's a different story. In more than a few places there were giant deep puddles of slushy ice cold water lying in wait for someone without sufficient foot covering to step in. There was one puddle on my way to my second class of the day that would have covered my whole foot in a flat. Luckily, these boots did their job and kept my feet warm and dry even while it was submerged in nasty slush water.
