Mail Call

I love receiving mail. My mom sent me some packages that I had put together before I left - more clothes and other things from home that I couldn't carry in my luggage. But yesterday I also received some things I had ordered online. A pair of shoes from ModCloth and a vintage faux fur capelet from Etsy seller Persephone Vintage. I have also ordered a pair of shoes from Urban Outfitters that I've been looking at for a couple weeks. Unfortunately I moved too slow and now they're on back order, but I'm kind of excited that in late February I'll get an email about them shipping when I'll probably have forgotten about them. I love little surprises like
that, even if they're not really a surprise.

ModCloth booties - I never thought I'd buy a pair of booties, but for some reason, I was really drawn to these ones.
Faux-fur capelet - I just need some long gloves and a fancier outfit, and it'll be great. I loved the packaging that this came in - wrapped in tissue paper with a poem on top. After I discarded the paper, I kept the poem and affixed it to the front of one of my notebooks.
