Winter Wonderland
Today marked the first snow of the season for us, and I could not have been more excited. I went out to brunch with my friends and then shopping, and something about the chilly temperatures combined with the snow and holiday decorations put me in the best mood for gift-buying. I also got the first wear out of my vintage cape (purchased from Rebecca of The Clothes Horse this summer) and I felt both old-fashioned and modern, since I combined it with my over-the-knee boots. The weather is going to be super cold from now on, something I can't really get too excited for, but if there's snow to be had with it, then I really can't complain too much.
These pictures were taken in front of the giant tree right in front of the Hancock tower. It was so pretty in the snow (which is sadly invisible in these pictures) all lit up.
You look very cute. Generally speaking, I'm not into over-the-knee boots, but they totally work here.
