Personal Health Day

That's right, I'm sick. Not swine flu, on my death bed-sick, but sick nonetheless and so I've decided to skip class for the day. I slept until 1, thanks to the nyquil and since then it's been lunch and hanging out. It's a little chilly today - weather.com lied to me a little bit and I only put on knee socks when I should have put on tights, but the student center (where I ate lunch) is only a short walk away from my dorm, so it wasn't too bad. I'm trying to be more creative with the pictures I take - which is hard to do in a dorm room. I'm always jealous of people who have someone to take their picture every day or have a secluded spot in which to take pictures. I've got a busy campus and a fear of being spotted by passerby with my camera and tripod. So, I try to make the best of my dorm room. This makes for some pretty boring me standing by the door pictures, but I've decided that I have to get creative. So, earlier this week, I took my picture standing on my bed, against the backdrop of my magazine ads and spider lights. I think it came out looking a little better than what I usually have, so I'll be doing more experimenting in the future.
